Superdrug Haul

On Sunday, I was feeling slightly worse for wear after maybe having one or five too many drinks(!) but I dragged myself out of bed as it was Mother's Day and popped into town for a cheeky cappuccino with my momma which ended up with me spending some of my birthday money in Superdrug. I haven't bought any makeup in months, I've surprised myself with how strong I've been but with all these new products being released, I had to have a little rather large splurge, so I thought I would share my purchases with you..

Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser - This was a repurchase, I have already done a review HERE. I absolutely love it and I prefer this to the Liz Earle C&P. The whole range of these Vitamin E products are so affordable and I'm excited to try out more as I don't tend to hear much about this range, yet the quality and affordability of it, is really great. £5.99

Vitamin E Night and Day Cream - There was an offer on for these products and seeing as though I love the cleanser from the same range so much, I thought I would give these a whirl, so expect to see a review of these soon. 2 for £3.99. 1 is usually £2.99.

Rimmel Apocalips in Nova - I received 'Big Bang' for my birthday and fell in love with it, and seeing as I'd heard the amount of hype around the whole range, I decided to pick up Nova, which is a gorgeous rose pink colour. £5.99

Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation - I love the Bourjois foundations but wanted a bit of a change from the Healthy Mix Serum and seeing as this foundation is supposedly meant to wake your skin up etc, I thought I would try it out, as my skin doesn't like early mornings.. £10.99 I got the 3 Bourjois products on a 3 for 2 offer.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer -Recently, I've heard little whispers around the blogging hemisphere that this concealer is a little gem. I like a full coverage under the eye as I have dark circles under my eyes no matter how much sleep I have so I will be interested to see how this compares to the Collection 2000 Lasting Finish concealer which I love, but do notice that it can crease sometimes which isn't a great look. £7.99

Bourjois Flower Perfection Translucent Smoothing Primer - Basically just got this because it was 3 for 2 on their face products and I'm not a fan of their blushes. Not one to wear a primer but definitely going to try this out and see if it makes a noticeable difference to the longevity of my foundation.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Varnish in 305 Lychee - Heard loads about this collection and got 2 from the range for my birthday and really liked it and whilst I was looking today at the different colours, I thought this was a really gorgeous colour and I don't have anything like it. £3.99 Both new collections are 2 for £6 currently.

Barry M Textured Nail Effect Varnish in 304 Kingsland Road - I hated the crack nail effect from Barry M however this intrigued me so I decided to give it a try and oh sweet lord, I am obsessed with this nail effect! It's hard to explain but it's basically just really teeny tiny, subtle textured bumps on the nail and it's a really nice alternative to a normal nail varnish finish without being tacky or OTT. £3.99

I'm pretty sure I will be reviewing most of these products at some point but if there's anything specific you would really like to see, please leave a comment below and let me know!

What products have you picked up recently?

What I Got For My 18th Birthday!

Hello everyone!

I've been absent on the blogging front for a while as I just wasn't 'feeling' it and blogging is no fun to write or read if it's forced so I decided to just have a little break.

On the 7th March, I turned 18 and I had such a lovely day with amazing family and friends! I know people are wary about writing these kinds of posts but I personally love them, and I was lucky enough to receive some lovely gifts and thought I would show them to you(not bragging blah blah etc etc). Most of my family gave me money, with a little present(because you're never to old for a present!) but I haven't included that in the pictures because I just don't think it's necessary; my dad's present to me was to pay for my flights/hotel for my holiday that I had booked to Turkey in July which I was over the moon about and my mum pays for my car, but more exciting than that, she had got 2 actual £50 notes in my card, and I don't know if that's me being really pathetic but I'd never seen them in 'real life' before! Hahaha!

If you would like any of the beauty products reviewing, please leave me a comment down below and I will be happy to oblige!

I also received the Soap and Glory Best Of All set but I didn't photograph because A) I forgot and B) everyone and their mum's have seen it!

R - My Mum's wedding ring when she was married to my Dad.

Mac Eyeshadow in Cranberry
Mac Lipstick in Coral Bliss

I'm sooooooo grateful for everything that I received and I love each and every one of my lovely presents!

Hope you enjoyed!
