My Goals for the Year..

I don't usually make new year's resolutions as I think that if you want to change something, then you should just change it and just because it's a new year, it doesn't suddenly mean you will become a whole new person but a lot happened in 2013 in my life, and I think I've changed a lot(in positive ways!) so this year is time for changes that have been nagging at me for a while now..

1. Visit a new place each week - I can sometimes get stuck in a rut, and just do the same things every day and not make any effort to do anything out of the ordinary and now I live in a city, I have absolutely no excuse to not branch out a little! I really want to explore a lot more, so whether it be a new shop, restaurant or just place in general, each week I want to visit a new place, and actually live my life well!

2. Make an effort - I can sometimes be really bad at making effort with friends, not to talk, but to actually meet up,go places with them and actually make plans, so this year I really want to make more effort with the people around me, and this one kind of links with the one above..

3. Save £50 a month - Even as a student, I think it's possible to save money for sure, and with a possible change to take part in an exchange to Melbourne in my 3rd year at university, I neeed to save lots of money which I love anyway, I find it satisfying to save money..(I'm just so cool, I know..)

4. Exercise - I currently go to the gym twice a week, which I'm finding is almost pointless! I really want to get fit and build abit of muscle up and hopefully take part in the Great North Run in September so after my exams this month, I'm going to get my money's worth out of my gym subscription and go at least 4 times a week!

What are your New Year's Resolutions, or as I like to put it, 'goals for the year'?
