Product Empties

After Christmas, I love to have a good clear out of my beauty products and use up little bits that have been left behind and neglected as I've moved onto something else so whilst I've been at home for Christmas, I've finally used up quite a lot of different products(well for me anyway, I never finish anything..) so thought I would share my thoughts on them with you..

Elemis Rehydrating Ginseng Toner and Mask - I did a review on these when I first got it and nothing what I wrote changed! Really great, light products that did a great job of not only soothing the skin, but giving it a new lease of life, even on days when I felt sluggish and tired. They are very expensive, and I actually wouldn't repurchase them as I've now found better matched products to suit my skin, at a cheaper price; win!

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish - Everyone and their nan have heard about this so I won't say too much about it but this is my holy grail cleanser! I have real trouble finding products that my skin doesn't break out too but I have come back to this product again and again and am now on what must be my 6th or 7th bottle! Not expensive in skincare terms and always reliable to do a thorough job of gently taking all of my makeup off, with a simple scent that couldn't put a sole off.

Batiste Original Dry Shampoo - Not great, not bad - I think next time I will definitely be buying the version for brown hair as I wasn't a fan of the grey coloured hair it left me with when first applied but does what it says on the tin, always a winner in emergency 'overslept and late' situations which I find myself in frequently! The on the go size is super handy for throwing in your bag as well, yay!

Soap and Glory Thermal Scrub - Absolute favourite exfoliator ever made on the entire planet. It smells absolutely gorgeous with a sweet scent of rapsberries and when applied to the skin, as you rub it, it heats up and really does a great job at getting rid of all the nasty, dead skin cells, leaving your legs etc smooth and smelling amazingly! Definite repurchase!

Collection 2000 Big Fake Ultimate mascara - Dries out in the blink of an eye but I still found it did a good job, although a lot of people find it quite hard to use after it does. I naturally have quite long eyelashes but this just accentuates them, giving them crap loads of volume and length, with me even getting asked once if I was wearing fake eyelashes! For the price of £4, it's an absolute winner!

Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara - Not amazing on it's own, as the curl often dropped when I just woke this and often had flakes of black mascara under my eye after 3/4hours of wearing it, although when paired with the Collection 2000 mascara, it did a great job of not making my lashes clump together. Wouldn't repurchase though.

Hope you enjoyed; it's always satisfying using up products and being able to go on to try new things!
